Artistry

I stared at the blank canvas as if enough color would breathe life into it.  My goal was to go from drab to memorable. I wanted something that would scream “Look at me!”

As I glanced at my palette, laid my colors out and got my brushes lined up, I smiled. The first touch would set the pace. A good foundation is essential when creating a masterpiece, or perhaps, in my case, trying to emulate that vision.

As I dabbled, smudged color and mixed hues, it was complete. Standing back, my face with make-up on was an illusion of beauty.
